Health 1: Life Management Skills

Health 1: Life Management Skills helps students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Students explore the connections between physical, mental, emotional, and social health while examining how personal values, relationships, media, culture, and other influences shape health-related choices. Topics include stress and emotional wellness, healthy relationships and communication, disease prevention, nutrition, personal safety, first aid, substance use, and emergency response. Students also learn strategies for setting health goals, making responsible decisions, and building healthy habits that can support their well-being throughout life.
