Palm Beach International Academy, a Stanza Education School (PBIA SES), is an accredited, hybrid, college-prep private school offering personalized, self-paced learning for students in grades 6-12 located in Boca Raton, Florida. As a mission-driven, non-profit institution, we prioritize student success. With a flexible schedule and individualized support from dedicated Academic Coaches, Teachers and Tutors, PBIA SES provides a structured yet adaptable environment where students thrive. Whether through one-on-one instruction, small group learning, independent study, or virtual engagement, students have the freedom to learn anytime, anywhere, while meeting the highest academic potential for each student.

A Rich History in Florida

Founded in 1989 as Private Tutoring Services, Palm Beach International Academy (PBIA) has focused on developing educational programs supporting the individual learning preferences, academic needs, and unique lifestyles of students of all ages. In 2013, our flagship Wellington location was established and we became well known in the equestrian community for our flexible educational model which allowed students to travel and complete their coursework. The growing need for out-of-the-box, student-centered educational solutions led to our partnership with Stanza Education Corporation in 2024, and the opening of our first microschool in Boca Raton, Florida for students in grades 6-12.

1989

Palm Beach International Academy is founded as a tutoring center.

1990’s

PBIA developed a flexible model embraced by the equestrian community. Our teaching systems allowed students to spend their winters in Wellington and to travel to horse shows around the world, with no compromise to their studies.

2001

First high school graduation occurred

2007

PBIA moved to Boca Raton. Tennis players, equestrians, hockey players, race car drivers, skaters, artists, dancers, musicians, and a vast variety of intelligent and creative students began seeking out PBIA’s team.

2013

PBIA Wellington opened its brickand- mortar location and soon began sponsoring horse shows around the country, opening “popup study centers” at different locations throughout the year.

2024

PBIA partnered with Stanza

mortar microschool with a

a flexible, quality education.
